Two scoring bursts, one in the third quarter (9 unanswered points) and again in the fourth quarter (12 unanswered points) gave Wahoo a decisive victory over the visiting Pioneers. Coach Anderson commented, “I thought we came out flat. It took a half to get our feet under us.” Steve Volin filled in effectively for Randy Hoffman who was in foul trouuble much of the game. Three point goals from sophomores Ryan Eddie and Bernie Inbody brought enthusiastic applause from the home town faithful as all twelve players in uniform played in the game.
