Wahoo’s first step towards a repeat championship at the State Tournament was an easy won as the Warriors easily outdistanced Ogallala, 76 - 40. Wahoo dominated on the inside with Jason Glock (24) and Randy Hoffman (13) providing the one - two punch. Coach Anderson emptied his bench half way through the fourth quarter and the reserves actually increased the Wahoo lead. Ogallala coach, Mark Etzelmiller pointed out that “Wahoo’s been down here. They came in here, especially against an 11 - 9 team, they came in here relaxed.”
