WAHOO: 15 ... 11 ... 12 ... 14 -- 52
Syracuse: 12 ... 8 ... 9 ... 16 -- 45

Enduring a stagnant offense and poor freethrow shooting, the Warriors were still able to pull out a win on the road at Syracuse. Leading the entire game, Wahoo’s 1-3-1 zone kept the Rocket offense off track. Syracuse coach, Leon Bose, commented, “They really took us out of our game. We were never really comfortable all night long.” Coach Anderson praised point guard Troy Glock, saying “He dictates a lot of things from that position (the point of the 1-3-1).” When it came to clutch time, Jason and Troy Glock sunk the freethrows, going a combined 6 for 6 in the last minute of the game. “We hit the freethrows when it counted,” said Anderson.
