Platteview had entered district play with a 5 - 13 record, but made its way to the finals by upsetting Raymond Central and Plattesmouth in the first two rounds. After trailing by only 4 at the end of the first quarter, the Trojans just couldn’t keep up with the undefeated Warriors and as Platteview coach John McGill said, “We had some success early, but they collpsed on us and our legs got tired from trying to play defense against Wahoo and it fell apart.” Jason Glock led all scorers with 25, while Ryan Eddie (17), Randy Hoffman (14) and Steve Volin (10) also reached double figures.
