Raymond Central: 7 ... 15 ... 7 ... 20 -- 49

Wahoo’s depth proved instrumental in the Warrior’s 87 - 49 victory over Raymond Central that brought home the Holiday Tournament trophy to the Warriors. After racing to a 23 - 7 first quarter lead, fouls sent three starters to the Wahoo bench in the second quarter and the Mustangs took advantage with changing defenses an a 13 / 15 performance at the freethrow line to cut into the Wahoo lead. But Wahoo shook off the confusion in the third period and made a 24 - 7 run. As starters Randy Hoffman and Troy Johnston went to the bench with their fourth fouls, Scott Latham and Mike Dvorak stepped in to keep the Warrior machine running. Latham recorded two blocks, while Dvorak contributed 6 points and 8 rebounds. As the Warriors cruised on in the fourth quarter, reserves Trent Toline (8), Jeff Simons (3) and Joel Weyand (5) joined the scoring onslaught.
