vs. Schuyler

3/8/1990 vs. Schuyler NONCONFERENCE game NEUTRAL STATE TOURNAMENT

Season Game #: 24 / Streak Game #: 62 / Current Record: 24 - 0

WAHOO: 12 ... 27 ... 15 ... 22 -- 76
Schuyler2: 12 ... 10 ... 16 ... 23 -- 61

In the first round of the State Tournament, Wahoo faced a rematch with Schuyler, a team it had beaten by 38 points at the end of the regular season. But the 11 - 10 Warriors were a much bigger challenge the second time around. With a triangle-and-two defense employed by Schuyler to stop the Wahoo inside game, Bernie Inbody was left open on the perimeter. Inbody came off the bench in the first quarter to down a three pointer at the end of the quarter to tie the score. The junior guard then made three more in the second quarter as the Warriors pulled ahead for good. The second quarter was the only one in which Wahoo would outscore Schuyler, but that 27 - 10 run was good enough to secure the victory. Jason Glock led all scorers with 39. Randy Hoffman and Inbody finished with 13 points each.
