1/12/1990 vs. Syracuse CONFERENCE game HOME REGULAR SEASON

Season Game #: 9 / Streak Game #: 47 / Current Record: 9 - 0

WAHOO: 26 ... 22 ... 17 ... 15 -- 80
Syracuse: 13 ... 18 ... 8 ... 15 -- 54

Wahoo tied the state Class B record for consecutive wins at 47 with an 80 - 54 Capitol Conference victory over Syracuse. The Warriors were paced by four starters in double figures: Jason Glock (28), Randy Hoffman (19), Steve Volin (13), and Ryan Eddie (11). The game was never in doubt as the Warriors raced to a 13 - 0 lead. Syracuse Coach Leon Bose called Wahoo a “complete team,” noting that “When you have that kind of combination - intensity on defense and weapons on offense - it’s very difficult to beat a team like that.” The win came in spite of players coming off illness that had kept Hoffman, Volin and Glock out of school on Thursday.
