Torrid shooting from beyond the arc gave Wahoo its highest score of the season to date with a 113 - 50 romp over visiting Arlington. The Warriors started strong and stayed strong extending a 20 point first quarter lead to 41 by half, 58 by the end of the third quarter and a final differential of 63 points. The Eagles employed a 2 - 3 zone, leaving the outside shots open, and as coach Rod Rhodes explained it, “make them earn it.” The Warriors certainly earned it, nailing six three pointers in the first quarter, three by Ryan Eddie, and then continuing the barrage, ultimately connecting on 14 treys. Eddie led the way with 5, Jason Glock netted 3, Joel Weyand and Justin Anderson 2 each, and Bernie Inbody 1. At the same time, Wahoo’s defense continued to roll, forcing 23 Eagle turnovers, 10 in the first quarter.
