Wahoo aced its first road test of the ‘90 - ‘91 campaign with a 96 - 32 trouncing of Logan View. Once again, the Warriors clamped on a full court press that gave the Raiders little chance of getting off a shot, let alone making it. The home team was nearly shut out in the first quarter with the first basket coming on a put back with 24 seconds remaining. Wahoo’s 50% fieldgoal shooting was the product of steals and layups. Jeff Simons scored repeatedly off the fast break in the first quarter and added a three to tally 11 total points in the stanza, eventually finishing the game with 15. Jason Glock (22) led the team in scoring with Joel Weyand (12) and Ryan Eddie joining the double digit club. Following the game, Logan View coach, Gary Samuelson commented, “They really are good.”
