The Warriors traveled to Elkhorn Mount Michael on a Tuesday for a much anticipated contest with another rated Class B team. The Knights took the lead, 19 - 14 early in the second quarter when Wahoo switched from its usual 1-3-1 defense to a triangle and two to stop Mount Michael’s leading scorers, Dan Beninato and John Harris. The ploy worked as Wahoo took a 35 - 30 lead into half time. Jason Glock scored 8 of his 43 in the third quarter and Ryan Eddie added two 3’s as Wahoo staked out a 51 - 43 lead. Started by a Jeff Simons three, the Warriors went on a 17 - 3 run in the fourth quarter and claimed the victory, 75 - 57. Eddie joined Glock in double digit scoring with 11 points.
