Wahoo got off to a little bit of a slow start in the first round of the Capitol Conference Tournament, but got rolling behind 14 first half points by Joel Weyand (18 for the game) and sprinted to a 100 - 52 win. Up 50 - 21 after the first half, the Warriors stayed aggressive in the second half with Trent Toline (19 for the game) scoring 11 points in the third period and Travis Toline coming off the bench to pour in 13 points. Reserve Brett Eddie pushed the Wahoo total to 100, the second time this season that Wahoo reached the century mark against the Cougars. Jeff Simons (13) also scored in double figures. The one bright spot for Conestoga was Jason Wohler’s shooting. The 6’3” senior went 8 / 16 for threes, scoring 26 points.
