3/2/1992 vs. Elkhorn Mt. Michael ... NONCONFERENCE / NEUTRAL / DISTRICT TOURNAMENT / Semi Final

Season Game #: 22 / Streak Game #: 112 / Current Record: 22 - 0

WAHOO: 18 ... 26 ... 12 ... 13 .... 69
Elkhorn Mt. Michael: 7 ... 17 ... 15 ... 5 .... 44

Elkhorn Mt. Michael had put a scare in Wahoo back in January, losing by only seven on the Warriors home court. But the meeting in the B-3 District Tournament semifinal was different. Wahoo never gave the Knights a chance to do anything scary, jumping off to a 10 - 3 lead on perfect shooting (3 for 3 from the field and 4 for 4 from the freethrow line) in the first four minutes of the game. By half time, Wahoo was up 20 and the Warriors cruised to a 69 - 44 win. The Knights were somewhat short manned as their top guard, Ryan Moody had been out for three weeks after being injured in a car accident. He did manage to score 9 points. The Warriors were led by Jeff Simons with 24, followed by Trent Toline with 18 and Mike Hancock, who made 5 three’s, with 15.

Noteworthy:
Leading Scorer: Jeff Simons 24 pts.
