Hosting the 1991 Holiday Tournament, Wahoo defeated Bishop Neumann 73 - 53 to qualify for the championship game. The cross town rival put up a challenge to the Warriors, closing to within two late in the third, but Wahoo responded with a 14 to 4 run to close out the quarter. Only five players scored for Wahoo, but four were in double figures: Justin Anderson (23), Trent Toline (20), Jeff Simons (13) and Joel Weyand (12). Coach Anderson wasn’t surprised by the competitive effort of the Cavaliers, commenting, “In a game like this, records don’t mean much.”
