Raymond Central: 17 ... 13 ... 15 ... 16 .... 61

It was the third time this season that Raymond Central faced Wahoo and the third straight time they had matched up with the Warriors in the title game of the Capitol Conference Tournament. It was the same result as Wahoo rang up a 78 - 61 victory. Up just one at the end of the first quarter, Wahoo surged to a 44 - 30 half time lead as Joel Weyand and Mike Hancock combined for 25 of Wahoo’s 26 second quarter points. Steals, layups and threes (two by Weyand and three by Hancock) catapulted Wahoo into the lead. Raymond Central was able to close to within ten in the third quarter, but never really threatened to change the ultimate outcome. With Trent Toline (14) joining Hancock (26) and Weyand (22) in double figures, the Warriors claimed their fourth consecutive Conference trophy.
