Wahoo opened defense of its Capitol Conference Tournament crown with a 81 - 43 win over Arlington. After a slow start that had Wahoo scoring only 8 points in the first four minutes, the Warriors ran off ten straight points and finished the first quarter with a 22 - 6 lead. Wahoo forced 37 Eagle turnovers and capitalized on many for uncontested layups. Joel Weyand scored 17 first half points, including three 3’s on his way to a team leading 28 for the night. Greg Hain (12), Justin Anderson (10), and Mike Hancock (10) were also in double figures. The other starter, Travis Toline netted 9 points, but sat much of the game in foul trouble. Greg Hain went out early in the third quarter with a back strain.
