Season Game #: 14 / Current Record: 14 - 0

Raymond Central: 7 ... 18 ... 18 ... 17 .... 60
Wahoo claimed its fifth consecutive Capitol Conference Tournament championship with a 98 - 60 win over Raymond Central. It was the fourth loss of the season for Raymond Central, three of them to Wahoo. But unlike the previous two encounters, this time Raymond Central got the jump on the Warriors, claiming an early 5 - 2 lead. But then it was business as usual as Wahoo ripped off 22 unanswered points. After the 26 - 7 first quarter domination, the Warriors built on the lead in every quarter. Raymond Central employed a different strategy this time with Wahoo, taking more time to get in position to get past the Wahoo press, and employing a box and one defense on the Warriors in the half court. But as the defense focused on containing point guard Joel Weyand, others were left open and they took advantage of open shots. Justin Anderson had a career high 28 points and Mike Hancock scorched the Mustangs from the outside with 24 points. Weyand still managed 22 points on the night. Coach Anderson commented on the victory, “Raymond Central has a good ballclub. It just so happens that we’ve been better over the past few games.”
