1/7/1994 vs. Conestoga ... CONFERENCE / AWAY / REGULAR SEASON /

Season Game #: 11 / Current Record: 10 - 1

WAHOO: 26 ... 25 ... 18 ... 17 .... 86
Conestoga: 6 ... 20 ... 12 ... 13 .... 51

Wahoo kept its conference record perfect with an 86 - 51 road win over Conestoga. The outcome was determined early as the Cougars turned the ball over on each of its first four possessions and ten times total in the first quarter as the Warriors sprinted to a 26 - 6 first quarter lead. Wahoo became a little complacent in the second quarter, allowing Conestoga to put up 20 points, but connected on four three pointers to increase its lead to 25 by half. Five Warriors ended up in double figures: Mike Hancock (28), Mike Simons (19), Travis Toline, 12, Greg Hain (11), and Josh Anderson (10). Coach Anderson wasn’t entirely happy with his team’s effort but he noted that after the intense games in the Prep Classic and against Mt. Michael, “I kind of expected a letdown.”
