With three returning starters leading the way, Wahoo kicked off the season by defeat;ing Seward, 87 - 43. The Warriors doubled up the score on the Blue Jays winning three of the four quarters by significant amounts. Two first quarter three’s by Mike Hancock led the way for a 21 - 10 lead. Greg Hain and Travis Tolinek then took over in the second quarter, each scoring 8 points as Wahoo stretched its lead to 44 - 21. After the even third period, Wahoo reserves came in and poured gas on the fire in the final stanza. Sean Forbes connected on three treys and Wahoo outscored Seward 25 - 4 to close out the game. Hancock was Wahoo’s leading scorer while Hain had 22 and Toline 18.
