Wahoo raced to an 87 - 43 Capitol Conference home win over Syracuse. The Rockets were able to take an early 7 - 4 lead, but then reality set in as Wahoo scored the next 34 points. Leading the Wahoo barrage was Greg Hain with a season high 29 points. Most of Wahoo’s damage was done in the transition game as 25 of Wahoo’s fieldgoals were lay-ups. Coach Anderson still didn’t feel like his team was at its best: “We weren’t playing totally well and we’re up 40 - 12 at halftime.” Mike Hancock (18), Travis Toline (12), and Mike Simons (10) were also in double figures for the Warriors.
