Wahoo advanced to the Capitol Conference Tournament championship game with an easy 90 - 58 victory over Arlington. The Warriors continued their pattern of first quarter dominance as they once again raced to an early lead. Wahoo posted a 25 - 9 lead by forcing 7 Eagle turnovers and holding the opponent to 3-of-11 shooting. Unlike in recent games, the Warriors did not falter in the second period and increased their lead to 49-25. The Eagles closed the gap to 15 points in the third period, but Wahoo ended the game on a 19 - 3 run to produce a convincing win. It was a down game for leading scorer Mike Simons who was held to 18 points, but teammates Eric Eddie (19) and Josh Anderson (25) made sure Wahoo stayed on the winning track. Anderson also contributed 12 assists and 5 steals for the game. Ryan Fiala was also in double figures with ten points.
