Wahoo advanced to the championship game of the small school division of the Lincoln Holiday Prep Classic with a 77 - 75 win over Omaha Roncalli. The game literally wasn’t over until the final buzzer and it came down to a rebound. Roncalli had tied the score with 15 seconds left and Wahoo coach Mark Watton set up a play to go to Mike Simons. But Roncalli saw it coming and denied Simons the ball. When Josh Anderson recognized he couldn’t get Simons the ball he drove to the hoop, but his shot rolled off the rim. Josh Herrmann fought for the rebound and finally secured it, but was somewhat off balance when he tossed the ball toward the rim. It was his only basket of the night, but it gave Wahoo the win. It was a come from behiind win for the Warriors as Roncalli had the upper hand early with a 13 - 3 lead. At the half, the Crimson Pride was still ahead by four.
