For the second consecutive game, Wahoo dominated their opponent as Wahoo sprinted to a 21 - 6 first quarter and posted a 30 point lead at half time as they defeated Arlington 75 - 33. A 20 - 0 run in the second quarter put the game out of reach. Mike Simons led the Warriors in scoring with 21, 15 coming in the third quarter as the senior netted five three pointers in the period. Josh Herrmann contributed 13 as he was a perfect 6 / 6 from the field. Josh Anderson was also in double figures with 18. Coach Watton was especially pleased with the Warrior defense as they forced 19 turnovers and held the Eagles to under 30% shooting. “We got a lot of fast break opportunities and that all starts with defense” -- Coach Watton. The Warrior bench played the fourth quarter and again eleven players scored.
