Wahoo had its best start of the season as the Warriors jumped on Fort Calhoun early to take a 35 - 10 lead. The Pioneers never recovered as Wahoo increased the lead each quarter, eventually posting a 99 - 45 win. Mike Simons topped the 30 point mark for the third time this season, posting 37 against the Pioneers. Simons also grabbed 24 rebounds. Coach Watton commented, “He was all over the court.” The Warriors riddled Fort Calhoun’s 1-3-1 zone as Eric Eddie connected on five three’s to total 22 points and Josh Anderson connected on 6-of-7 from the field to add 12 points. The win boosted Wahoo’s Capitol Conference record to 5-0, 9-3 overall.
