Wahoo’s long range game propelled the Warriors to a 87 - 64 win over Raymond Central. Behind Mike Simons’ (5/6) and Eric Eddie’s (5/8) three point shooting, Wahoo posted its tenth win of the season. Raymond Central’s coach, Randy McDowell said the Mustang’s intention was to try and limit Eddie’s production -- “We figured Simons would get his points, but I was disappointed we couldn’t do a better job containing Eddie and he had a heyday on us.” A 21 - 4 run during the first half led to a 47 - 25 lead for the Warriors. After that, the Mustangs played Wahoo evenly, losing the second half by only one point. The win put Wahoo’s Capitol Conference record at 6 - 0 heading into the conference tournament.
