Wahoo claimed the consolation championship in the small schools division of the Nebraska Prep Basketball Classic with a decisive 85 - 51 win over South Sioux City. The Warriors built a 39-28 lead the first half and then exploded for 29 third quarter points to put the game out of reach. The Wahoo defense clamped down on the Cardinals and forced 23 turnovers, many of which led to easy baskets. Four Warriors reached double digit scoring led by Mike Simons with 25 and followed by Eric Eddie (18), Josh Anderson (15), and Josh Herrmann (13). Eddie netted four of the team’s eight three’s while the Cardinals failed to convert any three point shots.
