The 2007 - 2008 Warrior team posted a 12 - 9 record. Playing in one of the toughest sub-districts in the state, Wahoo was able to defeat North Bend in the opening round (although both teams had winning records, they were in the "bunny bracket). Wahoo then faced #1 seed David City in the second round and won on a buzzer-beater basket by junior, Taylor Murren. Cross town rival, Wahoo Neumann ended the Warrior season with a 76 - 66 win in the District Final.
Murren was voted to the Capitol Conference All Conference Team while seniors, Austin Watton and Grant Anderson received Honorable Mention recognition. |
