The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Arlington Eagles 70-34 on Friday night in Capitol Conference action.
The Warriors led 18-7 after one quarter and 32-20 at halftime. The Warriors broke things open in the third quarter and led 51-28 after three quarters. Reserves played much of the fourth quarter as Wahoo went on to the 70-34 win.
"Outside of the second quarter, I thought that we played well. Tyler Brunsting had his best game, since he injured his hand. Jared Moline played very well again, also." Said Coach Kevin Scheef.
Taylor Murren led the Warriors with 18 points, 5 steals and 5 assists. Jared Moline added 16 points on 7-13 shooting from the field, and 9 rebounds. Tyler Brunsting contributed 13 points on 5-8 shooting from the field. The Warriors outrebounded the Eagles 38-33 and forced 25 Arlington free throws.
Wahoo improved to 9-7. Arlington fell to 2-13.
