Wahoo scored the first two buckets in the third quarter, a Murren basket and a Matt Myers lay up to go up by 10 at 35-25. The last of Moline's free throws gave Wahoo it's largest lead of the game at 65-46.

"This was a great win for us. After losing a heartbreaking game to North Bend on Tuesday, it was important to bounce back and play well before sub-districts start on Tuesday. We feel like we are playing our best basketball of the season right now, and we sure hope that we can carry it over to District action this week." Said Coach Kevin Scheef.

"Tyler Brunsting played very well and hit a couple of big treys for us in the second half. Greg Milliken played his best game of the season tonight. He was very aggressive on both ends of the floor, which we need from him." Scheef added.

Taylor Murren led Wahoo with 27 points on 13-15 shooting from the foul stripe. Greg Milliken contributed 10 points and 5 steals. Matt Myers also had 5 steals on the defensive end. Tyler Brunsting added 9 points and 5 boards. Layne Moore scored 7 points, had 7 boards, and 6 assists. Jared Moline also added 7 points.

Wahoo was 21-24 from the foul line, while Schuyler was 7-9. Wahoo forced 25 Schuyler turnovers, while turning it over just 14 times.

Wahoo improves to 11-9, while Schuyler falls to 10-9. Wahoo will face Raymond Central on Tuesday night at Waverly in Sub-District action at 7:45.
