The Wahoo Warriors improved their record to 17-5 with a 69-49 victory at North Bend on Tuesday night.

The Warriors got out to a great start, and led 29-13 after one quarter. Greg Millken had 13 first quarter points, and Max Cook had 11 first quarter points.

Wahoo extended the lead to 18 by halftime at 44-26. Wahoo outscored North Bend 13-5 in the third quarter to make it 57-31 after three quarters.

Coach Scheef: “After a very hard fought, emotional win on Monday at Logan View, I was worried about this game and having a letdown, but the kids came out and played very well early, and took control of the game early. It was a very solid win for us.”

Greg Milliken led Wahoo with 20 points on 7-11 shooting from the floor, and 5-5 from the line. Max Cook contributed 19 points on 8-12 shooting from the floor, 6 steals, and 6 assists. Josh Discher added 12 points, 9 boards, and 4 steals.

Wahoo outrebounded the Tigers 28-23, and committed 13 turnovers to North Bend's 20.

Wahoo will close out the regular season with a road trip to Schuyler on Friday night. North Bend drops to 9-12.
