The Wahoo Warriors defeated the North Bend Tigers 66-47 on Tuesday night.

The Tigers led the Warriors 10-9 after one quarter of play. Wahoo was able to get it’s offense going in the second quarter. They outscored the Tigers 20-8, to take a 29-18 halftime lead. Jon Abbott had 7 first half points, and Brook Stuart and Max Cook each had 6.

The Warriors extended the lead in the third quarter and led 48-33 after three quarters, before ending with the 19 point win at 66-47.

Coach Scheef: “This was not one of our better games tonight. We were not very sharp, and it was very concerning to get beat on the boards by 11 to North Bend.”

Seniors Max Cook and Casey Brown led five Warriors in double figures with 14 points a piece. Cook also had 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Brown also had 4 boards. Brook Stuart and Jon Abbott contributed 11 points apiece, and Ben Scheef added 10 points. Quinn McGill had a team high 7 rebounds and 4 steals.

The Warriors forced 21 North Bend turnovers while committing just 11, but were outrebounded by the Tigers 37-26.

The Warriors improve to 20-2 and will finish up the regular season at home against Schuyler on Friday night. North Bend falls to 9-12.
