The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays 63-45 in the final Capitol Conference game of the year. The win wrapped up the regular season Conference Championship for the Warriors.

The Warriors jumped out to a 14-1 lead in the first quarter behind four points a piece from Ben Scheef and Jake Scheef. The score was 14-3 after one period.

In the second quarter, three treys from Jake Scheef helped to push the Warrior lead to 30-13 at halftime.

In the third quarter, the Warriors maintained their lead and led 50-32 after three quarters. The Bluejays got as close as 55-41 with six minutes to play, but could get no closer the rest of the way.

Jake Scheef led the Warriors with 20 points on 3-4 shooting from behind the arc, and 7-7 shooting from the free throw line, to go with 9 boards. Ben Scheef had 15 points on 6-9 shooting from the floor and 6 boards. Jonathan Abbott added 11 points. Jake Wilson contributed 7 points and 5 boards. Quinn McGill had 5 points and 9 boards. Tyler Kavan had 5 points and 3 assists.

The Warrior outrebounded the Bluejays 34-17. The Warriors improved to 21-0 and will close out the regular season with road games at North Bend on Tuesday night and Schuyler on Friday night. Ashland-Greenwood drops to 10-9.
