Coach's Corner
“This was an absolutely terrific high school game. I am so proud of our kids and they way that they competed tonight. What a great effort they gave. Elkhorn South has a great team, and this was just a great win for our kids. Jonathan Abbott had an amazing game for us. He just came up huge for us, especially in the fourth quarter. Tyler Kavan’s three treys were huge for us. Quinn McGill gave an incredible effort for us. I don’t think I have ever had a kid have a bigger impact on a game, without scoring a point, but Quinn does so many things for us that don’t show up in the scoring column. Brook Stuart had a couple of big treys for us in the first half, and Brook is just such a solid player, and always does the right things for us out there. He is such a steadying influence on the team. Ben Scheef hit two big free throws for us in the final minute. Jake Scheef got a couple of huge offensive rebounds for us in the fourth quarter, and Jake Wilson gave us some really solid minutes off the bench.” -- Coach Scheef
