The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors 62-46 on Tuesday night.

Wahoo led 13-11 after one period. Wahoo stretched the lead to 29-18. Back to back treys from Lincoln Lutheran cut Wahoo’s lead to 31-24 at halftime.

In the third quarter, a Jake Scheef steal and assist to Gavin Iversen made it 39-28. On the next possession, a Gavin Iversen steal and assist to Jake Scheef stretched the lead to 41-28, and a Jake Ruzicka drive moments later put Wahoo up 43-28 late in the third quarter. The quarter ended with Wahoo up 45-34.

A Josh Langemeier early in the fourth quarter put the lead at 48-34. Wahoo was able to stretch the lead out to as much as 23 at 62-39, before ending with the 62-46 win.

Ben Scheef led Wahoo with 21 points, 6 boards, and 4 steals. Jake Scheef had 13 points. Gavin Iversen added 8 points, 5 boards, and 4 assists. Brandon Zetocka had 6 points on two treys.

Wahoo improved to 8-1, while Lincoln Lutheran dropped to 4-8. Wahoo will travel to Syracuse on Friday night.
