The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Syracuse Rockets in Capitol Conference action on Friday night in Syracuse 62-42.
Wahoo raced out to a 28-6 lead after one quarter and led 41-10 at halftime. The lead stretched to 50-11 midway through the third quarter, before reserves played the rest of the way.
Jake Scheef led Wahoo with 17 points and 6 boards. Ben Scheef added 14 points, 6 boards, and 4 steals. Jake Ruzicka added 10 points. Gavin Iversen had 10 points, and Colin Nadrchal had a game high 9 rebounds.
Wahoo forced 25 Syracuse turnovers and outrebounded the Rockets 38-29. Wahoo improved to 9-1, while Syracuse dropped to 5-6.
