The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Logan View Raiders 78-33 on Saturday night.

Wahoo jumped out to a 22-7 lead after one quarter and led 44-15 at halftime.

Jake Scheef led Wahoo with 21 points, 6 boards, 7 steals and 4 assists in just 14 minutes of action.  Jake Ruzicka had 10 points. Cole Peterson had 9 points on 3-3 shooting from 3 point range.  Peterson was 6-6 from three point range this weekend. Gavin Iversen had 9 points and 5 assists. Brendan Lacey added 8 points off of the bench, and Dalton Lamprecht contributed 6 rebounds.

The Warriors were 10-11 from the free throw line, and 8-15 from three point range.  Wahoo outrebounded Logan View 30-15.

Wahoo improves to 3-1 and will host Capitol Conference foe Fort Calhoun next Friday night.  Calhoun is 5-0 on the season.

“I thought we played pretty well.  Even with a good sized lead, I thought our kids stayed focus and executed our stuff well. It was nice to have all 13 kids who suited up, get a lot of time, and all 13 were able to score.” Said Coach Kevin Scheef.
