The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Raymond Central Mustangs 78-33 in the first round of the Capitol Conference Tournament, Monday night in Wahoo.

The Warriors led 31-3 after one quarter, and 56-12 at halftime, and 70-20 after three quarters.

Jake Scheef led Wahoo with 14 points, 7 boards, and 7 assists. Jake Ruzicka added 13 points and 7 boards. Cole Peterson, Lincoln Belitz, and Collin Nadrchal all added 8 points a piece. Belitz added 5 boards.

Wahoo was 10-15 from behind the arc, outrebounded Central 33-24, and forced 24 Mustang turnovers.

Wahoo improves to 12-3 and will now face Arlington at home on Thursday night in the tournament semi-finals.
