COACH'S CORNER

“It was a great win for us. We could have made things easier for us by knocking down some free throws at the end. McGinnis got a great look at a three in the final seconds, and is a great shooter. We were fortunate that did not go down. I was proud of our kids for the way that they competed against a very good Crete team. It was a good high school game. Cole Peterson hit a couple of huge treys for us in the fourth quarter, and I thought Jake Scheef had a really good game.” -- Coach Kevin Scheef.
