Bishop Neumann 65
The Wahoo Warriors were defeated by the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 65-54 in the finals of the Holiday Tournament.
Neumann jumped out to a 22-15 lead after one quarter. The Warriors battled back to tie the score at 27 at the break. A Neumann trey at the end of the third quarter put the Cavaliers up 44-42 heading into the fourth quarter. A Jake Ruzicka three point play tied the game up at 49 with 4:30 to play. From that point on, Neumann would make 18 consecutive free throws to pull away for the 65-54 win.
The Warriors fell to 5-2 and will host Lincoln Lutheran at home next Tuesday.

“Neumann shot the ball extremely well. 11-21 for them from 3 and 4-25 for us from 3 is pretty hard to overcome. In spite of that, we were still tied in the last 4:30 of the game, but just did not make the plays that we needed to down the stretch. Hopefully we will learn and grow from this game.” -- Coach Kevin Scheef.
