Wahoo vs. Columbus Lakeview

The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Columbus Lakeview Vikings 69-39 on Friday night for their 10th consecutive win.

The Warriors had a slow start as Lakeview jumped out to a 9-5 lead and led 14-7 after one quarter.

Wahoo responded with a big second quarter, outscoring Lakeview 25-5.  Jake Ruzicka had 12 second quarter points, and Cameron Quick had 8 in the quarter.  The Warriors led 32-19 at halftime.

Wahoo continued to open up the lead in the second half.  Wahoo led 52-31 after three quarter, and were never threatened.

Cameron Quick and Jake Ruzicka both scored 19 points a piece to lead Wahoo. Quick was 8-11 from the field and 3-3 from the line to go with 4 steals.  Ruzicka added 7 boards and 6 steals. Brendan Lacey added 11 points. Will Shanahan added 8 points and 4 blocks. Billy Hancock, Dylan Egr, and Mitchell McGill added 4 assists apiece.

Wahoo shot 57.1% from the field compared to 33.3% for the Vikings.

Wahoo improves to 13-8 and travels to Ashland today to take on the Bluejays.  Columbus Lakeview falls to 7-14.
