FINAL SUMMARY

CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT
Wahoo won its sixth consecutive Capitol Conference Tournament Championship by defeating Platteview 58 - 46 in the title game. It was perhaps the most unlikely of Wahoo's 20 conference titles since the conference was formed in 1981. The Warriors were seeded fourth with a 4-8 record, but defeated Arlington in the first round and then managed to upset the top seed, Fort Calhoun in the semifinals. The turnaround was an exceptional accomplishment for the Warrior team that at one time had a 3 - 8 record. Both Fort Calhoun and Platteview had defeated the Warriors earlier in the year. Syracuse, which finished fourth in this season's tournament has the second most titles with nine. Arlington (2), Ashland-Greenwood (2), Bennington (1) and Valley (1) are the other schools who have won a title. For a listing of the Conference results, click here.
