The Wahoo Warriors were defeated by the Crete Cardinals 58-36 on Saturday afternoon in Crete.

The Warriors trailed 12-7 after one quarter. Crete increased the lead to 27-17 by halftime. The Warriors were still down just 40-31 heading into the fourth quarter, but Crete broke the game open early in the fourth quarter and went on to the 58-36 win.

Wahoo was just 11-38 from the field (28.9%), and could only force 8 Crete turnovers.

Jake Ruzicka led Wahoo with 15 points and 5 boards.

Wahoo falls to 3-7 and will host Platteview on Friday night. Crete improves to 9-2.
