The Wahoo Warriors were defeated by the preseason #1 ranked Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 77-46 in the finals of the Holiday Tournament held at Bishop Neuman.
Neumann led 18-10 after one quarter of play. The Warriors hung around and trailed just 26-22 after Billy Hancock’s trey. Neumann ended the half on a 8-0 run to make it 34-22 at halftime. Neumann scored the first 6 points of the third quarter to make it 40-22, and extended the lead the rest of the way.
Neumann forced 30 Warrior turnovers to just 6 for the Cavaliers. Dylan Egr and Brendan Lacey scored 12 points a piece for the Warriors.
The Warriors fall to 3-4 and will return to action next Tuesday at Lincoln Lutheran. Neumann moves to 8-0 on the season.
