The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Arlington Eagles 53-31 on Thursday night in the Capitol Confererce Semi-Finals at Wahoo.

Wahoo led 11-6 after one quarter.  The Warriors were able to open up the lead and take control in the second quarter. A 10-0 run to open the quarter put Wahoo up 21-6.  Wahoo led 30-13 at halftime.  Brendan Lacey had 9 second quarter points, and Jake Ruzicka added 6.

Arlington was never able to mount a threat in the second half.  Wahoo led 39-18 after three quarters and led by as much as 24 in the fourth quarter before ending with the 53-31 win.

Brendan Lacey led Wahoo with 17 points. Will Shanahan added 10 points and 7 boards. Jake Ruzicka had 9 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists.

Arlington was just 10-47 from the floor, (21.3%).

The Warriors improve to 13-3, while Arlington drops to 9-7.  Wahoo advances to the Conference Championship on Saturday where they will face Platteview, at Raymond Central at 6:30.
