The 2017 Warriors finished the season in fine style, reaching the Class C1 state tournament championship game. After losing to Wahoo Neumann in the district final, the Warriors season record was good enough to earn a wild card birth at state. Wahoo was ranked #3 in Class C1 by both the LJS and OWH. It was the 32nd consecutive winning season (22 - 6) for Wahoo, and the 7th consecutive top ten ranking. The Warriors also claimed their 7th consecutive Conferenct Tournament Championship.
