A Brendan Lacey trey made it 40-34.  A Will Shanahan bucket cut the lead to 4 at 40-36.  Two more Shanahan baskets and two more Brendan Lacey free throws gave the Warriors their first lead at the end of the third quarter at 43-42.

The lead went back and forth in the fourth quarter.  A Jake Ruzicka bucket cut the Trojan lead to 50-49 midway through the fourth.  Platteview was still up 57-54 when Cameron Quick converted a three point play with 2 minutes left to tie it up at 57. A Jake Ruzicka steal and assist to Brendan Lacey for the three point play, put Wahoo up 60-57. Moments later a Platteview bucket made it 60-59. A Jake Ruzicka free throw put Wahoo up 61-59 with 40 seconds left.  After a missed Platteview trey, Billy Hancock was fouled and made 1 of 2 free throws to put Wahoo up 62-59 with 12 seconds left.  Platteview missed another deep trey with 4 seconds left.  Hancock secured the rebound, was fouled and knocked down both free throws to seal the 64-59 win for Wahoo.

COACHES CORNER
“This was a great win for us.  Things were not looking good in the second quarter.  We were getting handled.  I am really proud of our kids for perservering, getting back in the game, and making some big plays down the stretch.” -- Coach Kevin Scheef.
