The 2018 Warriors reached the ultimate goal, claiming the school's 11th state championship. Wahoo posted a 21 - 2 regular season record, won the district title and then defeated Ogallala, Lincoln Christian to get to the finals. The Warriors then defeated Winnebago in an exciting overtime game to bring home the state trophy. For the eighth consecutive year, Wahoo was in the top ten, this year ranked #1 by both the LJS and OWH. It was Wahoo's 33rd consecutive winning season.
