“We played a nice first half. Their half court shot at the buzzer seemed to energize them in the second half. We had some bad third quarter possessions that allowed them to get back in the game, but give them credit for playing really hard and getting back in the game.” Said Coach Kevin Scheef.
Winston Cook led the Warriors with 21 points on 9-15 shooting from the field, and 9 boards. Blake Lacey had 16 points, including 5-6 from the free throw line. Trey Scheef had 12 points and 7 boards. Thomas Waido had a game high 7 steals.
Wahoo improved to 20-3, while Elmwood-Murdock dropped to 14-7. The Warriors open Sub-District action on Tuesday night in Schuyler against David City. |
