The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Logan View-Scribner-Snyder Raiders 70-32 on Saturday afternoon in Logan View.
The Warriors led 11-3 after one quarter, and increased the lead to 33-7 at halftime. The lead was 53-22 after three quarter, and reserves played most of the fourth quarter to take home the 70-32 victory.
Winston Cook led the Warriors with 21 points on 10-14 shooting from the field, to go with 7 boards. Blake Lacey had 13 points, 5 boards, 5 steals, and 5 assists. Karson Hesser added 10 points. Trevor Kasischke added 9 points.
Wahoo out rebounded Logan View 31-17, and forced 20 Raider turnovers.
“I feel really good about how we played today. We were active on the defensive end and really unselfish with the ball. We got really good ball movement today. It was important to get off to a good start today, with the pace that Logan View likes to play at, and we were able to do that.” Said Coach Kevin Scheef.
Wahoo evened its record at 2-2 and will host Fort Calhoun on Friday night. Logan View-S-S., falls to 2-2. |
