The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Arlington Eagles 86-51 on Friday night at Arlington.
The Warriors jumped out to a 28-10 lead after one quarter behind three treys from Trey Scheef in the period. The lead stretched to 48-27 at halftime. Trey Scheef had 22 of his career high 31 points in the first half. The lead was 68-39 after three quarters.
“I thought we played well. We shot it well, which can be attributed to good ball movement and finding the open guys. Braden Harris played really well again for us, as the last few games he has been playing his best basketball.” Said Coach Kevin Scheef.
Trey Scheef led Wahoo with 31 points on 10-15 shooting from the field and 7-7 from the line, to go with 5 steals. Braden Harris had 17 points on 7-8 shooting from the field, to go with 6 boards, and 5 blocks. Thomas Waido added 9 points and 5 steals. Trevor Kasischke and Trent Hallowell added 8 points a piece.
Wahoo improves to 17-1 and will travel to GICC on Saturday afternoon to take on the highly ranked Crusaders. Arlington falls to 7-13.
