The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Nebraska City Pioneers 67-32 in their first Conference game in the new Trailblazer Conference, at home on Thursday night.
The Warriors jumped out early on the Pioneers, and led 19-6 after one quarter. They extended the lead to 44-11 at halftime, and to 59-18 after three quarters.
Marcus Glock led the Warriors with 16 points on 3-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Owen Hancock contributed 13 points on 3-4 shooting from behind the arc, to go with 4 boards and 4 steals. Trevor Kasischke had 11 points on 5-7 shooting. Myles Simon had 8 points and 5 assists. Triston Keeney had 5 steals and 4 assists.
The Warriors were 9-15 from behind the arc, and shot 55.1% from the field. Wahoo also outrebounded Nebraska City 29-15.
Wahoo improves to 4-1 and will host the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays on Tuesday. Nebraska City falls to 1-5.
